Lauca National Park

This beautiful national park is the place to be. It features the amazing Payachata twin volcanoes, and the park is by the beginning of the Andes Mountains too. You can go here year round, and no need to take out that wallet, because it's free! There are a ton of activities like mountain climbing, fishing, and trekking. For bird watchers there are over 130 different types of birds! Make sure to pack an umbrella for the summer, because it rains a lot, but in the winter you might want to rent a cabin to warm up your body from the snow. There is also one of the prettiest lakes around, Chungara Lake. This lake is one of the most elevated lakes in the world! If you look, you just might see llamas, alpacas, foxes, even pumas!

Most of the settlers came from Europe. Three to thirty present of the population are 100% white European. Most of the European immigrants came before and after World War II, and most of these were from Germany, because after the war was lose to Germany people came to look for better lives. Germany had lose most of their country, and was about to go into another depression, and all they really hate was their religion, Catholic, and since most of their friends and family had went down to Chile they wanted to go stay there. Chile also has a very large Catholics towards the south and center of Chile. .

Then only five percent of Chile are native Indians, but most of the tribes live to the north of Chile towards the mountains. A lot of the Indians still use the native talk, Aruacanian. Most people stayed in the north, and down through the center and south of Chile you can't find a lot of the tribes, because people thought it was only right to be a Catholic, but the tribes believed in many gods, and the European thought this was not right at all, and shoot them and burned their villages.

The other Indian tribes take up ninety percent of the population. The Puerto Muntt living in the south and the Coquimbo living in the north. They don't speak though in their native tones, because they were threatened by the German and British. They started little before the second World War. They were one of the only tribes that got a chance to try to live unlike the other tribe that was more up north.
