Dear Former Summit Students

¡Hola mis amigos!
Welcome back to your old Summit family. As you can tell, it's a little smaller than last year, but we are still very excited for all our new possibilities for this year. This thread is just for sharing your thoughts on anything, spanish related, high school, classes, homework, whatever you want to talk about. We are thrilled that you can be apart of The Summit once again.
¡Gracias!
Your new moderators, A.J. and Lydia

Bienvenido Pedro, y si - eres parte de la familia aquí.
Since this is all about collective learning, where everyone can share information, thoughts and opinions, I am very proud that this year's Summit students unanimously agreed that everyone should be allowed to participate!
Feel free to re-register again or simply post as a Guest. Since this was a short week, Message Boards weren't included as part of the assignments but look for us to light these things up again beginning next week!

Hey Gray!
We are so glad you want to be a part of our Summit Spanish experience! Just because you are attending a different school doesn't mean you can't communicate. I saw you at church on Sunday. I hope you had fun. I know its kind of boring. Feel free to share you thoughts on anything here and we can have an ongoing conversation. Can you tell me how Greenwood compares to Summit in relation to teaching styles (do you guys use books/computers), homework, etc.
Thanks for posting,
Lydia and the rest of your Summit friends
¡Gracias!

Amigos, Mallory Trafford stopped by afterschool yesterday to visit. I invited her to also "drop-in" to the Message Boards, though she still stays quite busy with dance and other activities.
If you still have her e-mail address, send her a quick message to say hello and also ask her to join us.
She's currently in 8th at Carver middle school and doing quite well in all her classes. She was laughing about how all her classmates were freaking-out because they'd been given a 7-screen powerpoint project!
Even better, she's already taken the end of the year Final Exam for 8th-grade Spanish, aced it, and is now studying Spanish II at Parkview High School - only because scheduling wouldn't allow her to get into the Spanish III class! Can you believe it!?!
Way to go Mónica; ¡Se Vaya Chica!

Mallory's e-mail address is mallory_roxs_12@yahoo.com. I'm glad she is still keeping in touch with the Summit.
