Hey, today we watched the Talent Show on Kid Nation!
~What was your favorite talent/kid?
~ Who would you vote for this week?
~ If you lived Bonanza City would you have done the talent show, if so what would your talent be?

I also think the question needs to be: ~ If you went to school at The Summit, would you be part of a talent show, if so what would your talent be?

When watching this last night and again today, I couldn't help but imagine what an Explorer talent show would be like. While I've know we've got more than our far-share of comedians, what other hidden talents await among our students?

I think this is something that our own version of town council -- student government should discuss and perhaps consider organizing.

As for my favorite from the Bonanza City kids, I don't know her name but really enjoyed the African American girl that sang acapella.

I think it would be great for the Summit to have a talent show.
It takes a lot of bravery to get up in front of your peers and show them what you can do. People can learn a lot about each other from it, and individuals can more about themselves as well as necessary life skills.

1. I liked Greg and Blaine's act the best.
2. My talent would be yo mama jokes.
That would be awesome if the summit had a talent show! I know my old school had a talent show.

My favorite talent was Greg and Blaine's. It takes a lot of guts to do anything in a talent show, like standing up in front of lots of people (39 in that case) and trying not to embarrass yourself.

If the Summit had a talent show, I probably wouldn't do anything in it because I don't have any cool things I can show off.

I didn't watch it that time I might later but all of what I have heard on here is that Greg and Blaine have had the funniest act ever. I am not sure but I am nothing else to say other than my old school would have had a talent show.

I think having a talent show at the summit would be a great idea. Everyone could show their talents & hobbies, and we would all have fun watching all the performers....just like on Kid Nation!

The student government is having a meeting. And what we were thinking was to have a "talken Showcase" Where you aren't neccessarily competing against other kids, but showing all of the wonderful things our students can do. We were thinking of doing it in the Spring, so people have time to prepare, there is not set date or plans. Also we were thinking of making it a chartity thing for"Veto the Skito". I will let everyone know about further plans.

¡Chévere mis amigos...! 5 months ago we watch an episode of Kid Nation, that included a talent show. While many of us were "thinking along the same lines", it was Sofía that initiated the discussion -- and look what happened last Friday!

What a talented bunch of Explorers we've got, and Summit students overall! I enjoyed watching each of you share your artistic creativities and hope that next year's Talent Show will be even bigger! In fact, so big that they have to have two different shows for lower and middle school!
